I think that when we hear mention of giving feedback it’s always interpreted as giving (hopefully constructive) feedback on the performance, products or services of someone else. It struck me when I received the information below that we tend very rarely to provide feedback to our customer, clients or patients about how we are performing for them. In fact, if we don’t get a complaint we never bother to modestly let them know what a great job we are doing. The problem with that is very simple… if they don’t know they are getting great service how can they even appreciate it?

That’s why I thought this email from my antivirus provider was such a good idea. They tell me what they’ve done for me, which is great coz I had never thought about it nor had any idea and, as well, they give me the facts on what they are doing worldwide which gives me an appreciation and understanding of them and their business. I was impressed!

So, what and how can you modestly let your customer, clients or patients know what a great job you are doing for them?
