Good morning!
Can I ask for your help please?
I’ve been searching around using advertising and recruitment consultants to find a couple of good, honest, reliable employees who can join our great team in our busy office. Regrettably, although I’ve been promised much, my efforts so far have all been to no avail.
Then it struck me… why not ask people I know and who know me and might be able to help. So that’s why I’m writing to you as a client.
Do you know someone (and it may even be you) who is currently working in an accountant’s office, perhaps traveling up the motorway every day using lots of expensive petrol, who would like to make a change and work right here in Pukekohe where they live?
We need three more people to join our team.
I desperately need two people with an accounting office background… a Senior to share the workload, which is growing quite quickly, and an Intermediate to look after the nitty gritty processing common to every accountant’s office. These people will report direct to me but, because we are a busy office, they’ll need to be self a motivated and happy to work unsupervised where necessary; naturally assistance is always available when it’s needed. These are both full time roles although we’re obviously flexible about hours to help our team members fit in with family and lifestyle commitments.
I also need an IT person who has a good knowledge of MYOB and similar accounting programs plus some accounting knowledge to visit clients and assist them in their day to day accounts processing in their businesses. Really, this is all about helping owners, managers and team members of small to medium sized businesses get their software to do what it’s supposed to do… someone who knows anything about MYOB, Quicken and the like will know what I mean. Initially I see this as more of a part time role initially, say 3 -4 days a week, but there is the potential to expand it into a full time one.
If you are, or if you know anyone who may be, suitable for any of these roles I’d love to hear from you! Maybe you know someone who works in Auckland or Manakau who is sick of traffic jams, wants to save petrol (and money), waste less time travelling, or just wants to work locally then one of these roles may be the answer.
Now I could spend time telling you how great our employment conditions are and what a great employer I am but, as a client, you will have met my team members and me and know how happy, contented (and indeed good looking) they are. Really, that’s the best recommendation I can give for joining our team.
The way to register interest in one of these opportunities is to call Freda Smith or me and provide a brief picture of experience and background. If we like what we hear, we’ll arrange an appointment for a chat to take it further.
Now as I’ve already invested big dollars looking for people with no result I reckon that, if you can find me someone who I appoint, it’s worth showing my appreciation. For each team member you help me recruit I am happy to reward you with your choice of…
- A voucher for $1,000 of hotel accommodation anywhere in the world
- Airline travel to the amount of $1,000
- A $1,000 shopping voucher
- A $1,000 donation in your name to a charity of your choice
- Or just plain and simple… $1,000 in cash.
What you choose and what you do is up to you… share it with the person you recruited for us or keep it all, that’s your decision! The bottom-line is that I need your help… please give generously!
Yours sincerely,
Tony Jones
