I have previously commented on the sales emails from The Good Store and how great they are. They do an excellent job of getting you to start reading them, dragging you into the content, making you interested enough to go to their web site and ultimately buying! It’s the old AIDA formula done well as an email marketing approach.

It’s the subject line that does it as you will see in this example.

However, once you open the email and start reading you’re a dead duck… you’ll read the rest and, if you’re like me, you’ll probably buy (generally for that special person in your life, or failing that, for your second favourite person… yourself). I’m buying two of the product in this email… one for her (shush) and one for me.
