Whitelist Us

In order to ensure that your copy of Winston's e-Newsletter does not get caught in spam or junk mail filters, please add us to your friends list. Since every e-mail system is different here below are instructions for some of the most popular providers/software programs used to protect email addresses.

Thank you for taking the time to add Winston's e- newsletter to your friends list.

Outlook 2003
From the menu, select Actions / Junk E-mail / Junk E-mail Options.
Go to the Safe Senders tab.
Make sure the check box titled 'Automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders List' is checked.
Click OK. 

Outlook 2000
From the menu, select Tools / Address Book.
Click New / New Contact.
In the Display field, type "Winston Marsh".
Under Email Addresses, type wow@winstonmarsh.com.au and click Add.
Click OK.
 

AOL
Go to Keyword / Mail Controls
Select the screen names we’re sending your Winston's e-newsletter to.
Click "Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name":
For AOL version 7.0: In the section for "Exclusion and Inclusion Parameters", include @winstonmarsh.com.au
For AOL version 8.0: Select "Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains."
Click "Next" until the "Save" button shows up at the bottom.
Click "Save"
For AOL version 9.0: Select "Mail Options"
Pull down to "Address Book"
Click "Add"
In "Screen Name" type wow@winstonmarsh.com.au
Click "Save" 
 

Hotmail
Login to your Hotmail or MSN account
Click on "Options" link, on the main menu tab.
Click on "Safe List" (under the heading "Mail Handling")
In the space provided enter wow@winstonmarsh.com.au
Click "Add"
When you see the address you entered in the Safe List box, click OK.
If your Winston's e-newsletters are still being delivered to your Junk Mail folder, select one of the messages and click ’This is not Junk Mail’ to avoid having the newsletter sent to the Junk Mail folder.
 

McAfee Spamkiller
Click Friends from the sidebar.
Click Add.
Type: wow@winstonmarsh.com.au
Click OK.
 

SpamAssassin
Add the following entry to your user_prefs file, which is found in the .spamassassin subdirectory on your web/mail server:
whitelist_from wow@winstonmarsh.com.au
Save the user_prefs file or move the updated copy to your .spamassassin subdirectory. 

Yahoo
Open your Yahoo mailbox
Click on "Mail Options"
Click on "Filters"
Click on "Add Filter"
In the top row, labeled "From Header:" make sure "Contains" is selected in the pull-down menu.
Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter wow@winstonmarsh.com.au
At the bottom, where it says "Move the message to:" select "Inbox" from the pull-down menu.
Click the "Add Filter" button again.
If Winston's e-newsletter has been filtered to your "bulk" folder, simply open the message and click on the "This is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.
 

Other
If Winston's e-newsletter is being filtered, try adding wow@winstonmarsh.com.au  to your Address Book or Contact list. If this option is not available, try moving the message to your "Inbox" or forwarding the message to yourself.

If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP’s technical support and ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from wow@winstonmarsh.com.au .

If they need to know the domain we’re mailing from, tell them: www.winstonmarsh.com.au
