Good morning!

Boy!  Her breath would have blistered

the paint off a wall!

Yes, the other day we had a sales person in to see us who really did suffer from bad breath. Those of us who had to talk to her were continually on the back foot… her breath would have sure as heck blistered the paint off a wall!

And it’s a common problem.

What is common too is that most people don’t know that they have bad breath or that they can do something about the problem (for which I think an advertising man dreamed up the name of ‘halitosis’ many years ago.)

So what can you do about bad breath?

Firstly, we have a number of sprays, tablets and mouth washes which can be used to provide immediate masking of bad breath and if the problem is in the mouth they will often eradicate it.  They make you nice to be around.

Secondly, there are a number of natural therapies and dietary supplements that are believed to help people suffering from bad breath (which may emanate from the gastro intestinal tract) and they can often be an appropriate approach.

Thirdly, we get many people who swear by some of our toothpastes and tell us that these are very effective in assisting to restore pleasant smelling breath. We know that the smokers’ toothpaste works wonders too.

So, as you can see, there’s no need to ever suffer bad breath.  You can always be nice to be near! Naturally, if bad breath persists, you should seek advice from your dentist or family doctor. In a nutshell, if you’d like to smell sweet again, please come in and see us.  We’ve got ideas that will literally take your breath away.

                                                                                                             Yours sincerely

P.S. How do you know whether you have bad breath? Get into the habit of having your partner check yours regularly (and vice versa).

P.P.S. And if you’re ever embarrassed by bad breath from “the other end” talk to us about that too.  We’ve got some great remedies to get you back into polite society!
