A friend of mine used to live in Sydney and regularly trek out to Herbie’s Spices at Rozelle. She’s now moved to Melbourne and had to order at the website so she included an explanation as to why she hadn’t ordered in person.
She got a lovely handwritten note back to say “Many thanks Nicola, cheers for the note… we miss you too!”
She was chuffed that they bothered and its guaranteed that she’ll be a customer for life. Simple to do but worth heaps.

Hey Winno, good to see you have moved back down to civilization.
I always read your emails, and would like to reciprocate.
I am pretty sure you will agree the linked video is quite impressive.
Trust you enjoy it.

Common courtesies and thoughtfulness are often missing today. Handwritten notes are a thoughtful touch.
That is a great lead Winno. Herbie’s now has a new customer. They have a great web site with heaps of recipes and product.
cheers
Ross
Pleased that you like the info Ross and you’ll find Herbie’s products really good. What spice would you recommend for the fantastic venison you produce?
Have a f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c day… Winno
Thank you David he says in his best handwriting!
That’s a great video and I’ll blog about it so every one can share the ideas. Thanks Nobby and have a f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c day… Winno
